Dear CWC SF-Peninsula Branch members and friends,

News Update September 13, 2022 (special edition!)

All Meetings to Resume In Person Only (Effective Saturday)

Our board voted last night to resume all meetings in-person only, beginning Saturday. We've struggled mightily to make the hybrid meetings stress-free for the team running them, but factors render this difficult. Several CWC branches have had similar experiences. In addition, the circumstances of the pandemic have eased, although the need for caution remains uppermost in our minds.

Therefore, the board decided enough of hybrid, for now, committing us to meet in person entirely at the Yacht Club. We will strive to adhere to the recommended pandemic prevention strategies of San Mateo County as well as we can.

We're looking into ways to record these meetings and make them accessible on our website. If and when that occurs, we'll let you know, but it is likely not possible by Saturday.

Please register online for Saturday's meeting

Register for our September 17 meeting to hear attorney Robert Pimm speak on "A Legal Guide for Writers: Get Your Questions Answered." Bring your sharpened pencils and refine your questions because Robert is an expert. Read more. Everyone pays $10 to attend meetings. Join us in person at the Sequoia Yacht Club, pay $10 online, or pay $15 at the door when you enter.

If you've already paid ...

... but cannot attend in person, please write to membership@sfpeninsulawriters.com to request a refund.

Cheers!

Tim
