Dear CWC SF-Peninsula Branch member,
News Update September 15, 2022 (special edition)!
Attention All Fault Zone Anthology Contributors
Please read the following announcement from Lisa Meltzer Penn, Community Readings Coordinator for our branch:
To celebrate California Writers Week 2022, storytellers and poets from the San Francisco Peninsula branch of the California Writers Club will read selections from our award-winning Fault Zone Anthology Series on Sunday, October 16, 3-4:30 pm at the Belmont Library, 1110 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, CA.
If you have one or more pieces published in the series, please let Lisa know (see below) as soon as possible if you are interested in being one of our readers for this event. This reading will encompass the entire series to date and we are looking for representation from all the volumes.
We will have twelve readers in all, and priority will be given to those who did not read in our July 31 reading, a huge success. We look forward to another great event.
Each reader will have 5 minutes in front of the microphone to read, meaning you may have to present only part of your piece and leave the reader hanging!
If you are interested, please send Lisa the following information:
Your name, email address, and phone number (opt.)
Name of story or poem(s)
The name of the Fault Zone anthology and page number.
*Note: If you have more than one piece published in the series, please list alternates you would like to read, as we are looking for a cross-section of the different volumes.
The event is open to all, whether you are reading or not, and we encourage everyone to attend and tell a friend or two as well! The library is open to hosting us for quarterly readings so we want to make sure they are well attended.
