Members present: Eva Barrows, Sue Barizon, Tim Flood, David Harris, Nirmy Kang,, Margaret Nalbach, Tice Swackhamer, Miera Rao, Alisha Willis, Megan McDonald, Vibha Akkaraju

1. Minutes - Nirmy

March 2025  meeting minutes presented for approval. Approved.


2.  By-Laws/P&P Revisions - David

  1. Revisions being made to accommodate having 2 Co-VP’s

  2.  Should we expand the number of voting members to 15 as we are adding another VP and a parliamentarian to the voting members? 

  3.  Motion: To give the Parliamentarian a vote.  Motion withdrawn. 

  4.  New Motion: Alisha will be the new Parliamentarian from now and going forward through to the end of the CWC year. Motion passed. 

  5. Pending further discussion.


3. Membership - Margaret

  1. We have 180 members!!

  2. It was suggested that perhaps once a quarter some Board members could stay behind after the General Meeting for half an hour or so to take questions from new members


4. Key Contributors Page  - Tim

  1. Proposed that we have a Key Contributors Page on our website

  2. Also a Meet Your Communications Team in the NewsBlast. 


5. Club Emails - Megan

  1. New email set up and migration is almost complete

  2. Megan will send out instructions on how to set up the domains so that your personal email address is not revealed 


6. Candidate Slate and Bios - Tim

  1. Tim needs pictures, bios for the slate of candidates by April 8th. Who you are and what you’d like to contribute in less than 100 words.

  2.  The slate will be announced at the May meeting.

7. June Speaker Series - Eva

  1. Each speaker (3) on the June panel will be paid an honorarium of $100. 


8. NEW Zoom Speaker Series

  1. Eva proposed a Zoom Speaker Series in addition to the regular speakers at the monthly meetings. Logistics are still a WIP. Eva will hold a special meeting to brainstorm.
