1)      Geri made a motion to approve the August minutes as amended. Approved.

2)      The board discussed possible questions to include for a membership survey.

3)      The board discussed logistics for recording a video to celebrate the CWC SF-Peninsula branch’s upcoming 60th anniversary.

4)      Eva gave an update on the pilot Zoom speaker series presentation scheduled for October 1. The board discussed logistics for registration and payment.

5)      Nirmy and Jenny gave an update on the speakers scheduled for 2025 and 2026. The board discussed finding dates that won’t conflict with events put on by the CWC South Bay Writers.

6)      Vibha provided the treasurer’s report, which included accepting in-person credit card transactions via Square and the possible purchase of a liquid CD.

7)      Margaret gave information about membership renewals.

8)      Vanessa gave an update on the upcoming Fault Zone. Pre-orders should start before Thanksgiving.

9)      Geri solicited ideas for workshops and breakout sessions at the NorCal Leadership Conference on April 26, 2026.

10)  David provided an update on the CWC SF-Peninsula’s 2025–2026 contract with the Sequoia Yacht Club. He made a motion to approve the contract’s dates and expenditures. The motion passed.

11)  David requested help for the general CWC SF-Peninsula September meeting. Nirmy agreed to run the meeting, while Jenny will moderate the workshop panelists.

12)  Since Margaret will be gone, Tim Flood will need help with the meetings in October.
